Trying to savor Sunday morning before the insanity starts back up. Work has been so busy and so has the personal life. I need to get my tax stuff together today so I can get them done during the week, never fun. Spent a couple hours yesterday cleaning the pool before I swam. It's been so rainy this year that I had moss on the darker side of the pool deck. insane. Did a good swim, was going for a solid hour, but cramped up about four minutes into the second half, so I abandoned for another day. Maybe today, I'm going to make sure I drink enough water this morning so no repeat. Other than that, I was doing pretty good. Not quite a PR, but above 900 again, so there's a new baseline. 903 strokes, 10.1 METs, average heart rate was in the 140's. Had to recalibrate the watch after due to spotty recording, so we'll see if I get better readings today.

Walked the dogs later in the evening. It's funny how the time you walk has a big effect on the people you run into. Different crowd after dark, especially on a weekend. I have been tasked with organizing a happy hour, had to remember that next weekend is easter weekend so will probably go for after that one.

it's been too busy to log much more than food and weight from time to time and I don't want to abandon weekend rules on the computer because it sucks me in. so I'm here, I'm fine, it's just crazy busy. I need a vacation, I know it, and I'm trying to get one on the books. I'm trying to take pictures, but only halfway successful most days.

I also just want to remind people that German shepherds are one of the most intelligent dogs out there. See last pic.
