Katsolo's Journal, 12 March 2023

A little behind this morning, but no biggie. Didn't sleep in, just got distracted doing some stuff when I got up. Seems to be a weekend theme with me lately. Gonna have to work on that.

Swam yesterday, seems the heart rate sensor didn't capture all my data, but it was a pretty smooth swim with no issues. Making an effort to spend more time in the water again. I'm just not getting enough cardio out of our slower puppy walks and I don't want to lose that. 875 strokes, it says average heart rate 141, but I did peak at 157, so got some work in there. Almost the entire swim was in zone 1, with 10 METs. Yeah, probably going to do it again today. That was a bit unsatisfying.

I did chop two inches off my hair last night and hit it with some thinning shears for layers. Love how it feels after I chop the dead ends off.

Yesterday was a bit of a cluster overall, but it's fine for the moment. Good times, good times.

Blob down, muscle holding, water consumption dismal.

Weekend rules, enjoy the day!

🤣🤣🤣 I put my pajama pants on backwards pretty often because I wear men's to get them long enough. Apparently men don't have butts🤔. I love swimming, it's therapy for me and the 1 exercise I don't get burned out doing. Hope your pups are doing well. Friday my vet diagnosed my 15 yr old with leg joint arthritis and mild nerve damage in her paws to go along with her acid reflux but otherwise she's doing good for an old chick. Have a great week ❣️

Sounds like you had a good swim. Do you wear a smart watch to gage your heart rate? 💜

Easy to get distracted and time just zooms by.

Yeah, I swim with the watch and lately it’s been 50/50 on capturing heart rate data which is super annoying for zone training. When it does work, it’s awesome. This one is doing a better job of counting strokes though. Hard in a swim spa. Only so many things you can measure without distance.

Dang it, I get distracted too, usually before I get on a roll.☹️ I know I need to cut my hair too a little spooked to do so. Glad yours came out great!👍 I can’t swim with you, but I can drink water with you, I am doing better, so let’s do it!💦 Have a Stupendous Sunday, what’s left of it.👍🤗

Just got finished chopping up a ton of palm branches from the last storm. Hoping this is the last of it for this year. It’s going to take a couple of weeks to put in the trash, but breaking them up into pieces and sorting it makes it much easier. Trying to decide if I’m feeling up to bundling then with twine. Kinda tired.

Just do a little at a time

That is the plan, one trash bin at a time until it’s gone.
