Another decent drop this week. Cutting out coffee with cream and sweet n low has really helped with weight loss. I encourage everyone on FS to check out the carnivore diet online. Dr Ken Berry, Dr. Shawn Baker, and Keely Hogan, and many others on YouTube explain why so many of us have struggled with weight for so long. Especially since f you are type 2 diabetic, this meal plan is for you. Try it for 50 days. The mental clarity alone is worth it.

It’s called the carnivore diet. Basically any kind of meat, seafood, or fowl, plus butter and some raw dairy if you want. The goal is no carbs. I have done it for a little over a month. I have lost 14 ponds eating all the food I love and as much as I want. Look up the people I mentioned that are on YouTube. Besides the weight loss, I have a mental clarity and drive I haven’t had since my 20’s. Total answer to years of prayer. 😊

I don’t even eat corn, but I’m making some popcorn for the comments section here. 🤣

Answer to mental clarity question. I’ve had ADD since childhood, but didn’t realize it until my son was in third grade. As I was trying to figure why he acted just like me as a kid, very frustrating sometimes 😊, I realized he was ADHD. I assumed it was just a genetic thing. I now realize it was more about how my brain handled the food I ate. Since starting carnivore, I don’t put off getting things done. I’m not distracted and I have the physical and mental energy to do what needs to be done. It’s like the brain fog has been lifted. Makes working out, chores, and a desire to be social a joy, not a burden.

Sounds pretty much like Atkins, similar at least. My son did Atkins and lost a ton of weight but gained it all back and then some when he adjusted his diet. It works well for some but personally, I cannot give up my milk, fruits and veggies.
