12-15-14 Discouraged this morning. Weight up 2 lbs this morning. Doesn't that equal 7000 calories? Doesn't a pound require 3500 calories above what you need to maintain current weight? I seem to remember reading that.
How did everyone else do? Let me hear some success stories here.

I lost 2 pounds last week. I weigh on Wednesday for this week. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight fluctuations. Our bodies consist of approximately 60% water, so our weight goes up and down all day. If you workout and sweat a lot, you may dehydrate and the scale may go down. if you eat too much sodium, exercise, lack of sleep, sickness, medications, inflammation, etc. and many more effect the scale. So if you didn't overeat, then most likely the gain has to do with something else causing you weight to shift. Make sure you drink water/liquids. Watch your sodium intake. Hormones also effect the scale.

I gained 1/2 pound last week, but we can't get discouraged. This isn't a race, it's a slow walk. I got a fitbit the other day, it's just a fancy pedomator but I love it. The other night I was 300 feet from 10,000, so I got out of bed and walked around till I got 10,086 steps. Yeah for me. Lol yesterday I only got 6,500 but oh well today is a new day and a new beginning. Lets just keep it up
