entered before the stroke of midnight. busy day. it rained here all day, so I shredded papers and cleaned and watched the last episodes of stranger things. yeah, I'm behind. found suitable clothes for the trip next week, need to locate shoes tomorrow. last time I really went through the closet, the bottoms of some of my good work shoes crumbled off and that's not an acceptable thing out in public. ugh, now, I'm worried about it. will do first thing. Zappos is always there for me if needed.
anyways, that's it. held steady. got 10k steps inside the house and yard. it is possible.

I've had that happen with shoes, dry rot. Happens when they're not used regularly. Very irritating.

Re: shredding. I've found with some papers, I can just tear off the identifying info and shred that instead of the whole page.

Ordered last night, Zappos says Tuesday. Wonder what's up with that? I swear I used to order late at night and they'd be there the next day. Such is life though.

Amazon has a bit of the problem plaguing most business- supply chain and not enough employees. No one wants to work. A manager at a store was describing his similar woes to me and after he finished I laughingly said I would come to work for him but I wouldn’t have a clue what I was doing. He said that if I ever were serious to come on in— he could train me faster than he could find motivated people.

Shir, one of the things my father gifted me with his passing was a ton of paper. That’s what I’ve been going through and shredding as well as my own. No fun, but I used to stash it in boxes when I wasn’t living alone because some people think it’s okay to go through other people’s papers. I now have a much better shredder and there shouldn’t be a backlog again.
