I'm not understanding how I'm losing, but I'm not complaining. I've been eating more throughout the day instead of just eating dinner. Hope I can keep losing even though I started back on insulin today. Wish me luck.
270.0 lb Lost so far: 6.2 lb.    Still to go: 70.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 2.4 lb a week

Well, our bodies can only process a certain amount of food at at time. So if we eat too much at one sitting, a certain amount is stored as fat. If you eat throughout the day, the metabolism keeps on burning. Food is fuel for your metabolism. To keep a fire going, you have to keep putting wood on it, same is true for our metabolisms. The faster your metabolsim the more calories you will burn.
