My lowest weight in 10 years. I went through a wicked divorce, the stress landed me in the hospital with a heart problem. It turned into clinical depression and I gained 80 pounds over 2 years. Held onto the weight for another 8 years. Then, I moved to a very isolated fishing village on the west coast 3 years ago and finally started feeling safe enough to start focusing on myself again. Through light exercise, 16:8 IF, low carb, low sugar, low sodium, mostly organic, unprocessed, whole foods, - I've been able to slowly lose 55 pounds over 3 years. I've lost parents and friends over those 3 years. I'm currently recovering from a major spinal cord injury that very nearly paralyzed me. I had major surgery on T6, 7 and 8. Spent a month in the hospital and inpatient rehab where I learned to walk again, do stairs, dress, bathe - everything. Those events definitely caused setbacks, but I preserved. I want to be healthy and strong!! I'm inching close enough to my goal, that I'm starting to believe I'm actually going to reach it. I'm still rebuilding lots of muscle loss, so I understand the scale isn't a true reflection of health. I'm more focused on body fat (going down) and muscle mass (going up). Just felt like sharing that with my FS family today. This platform is special 🌷🥳💝
144.8 lb Lost so far: 53.1 lb.    Still to go: 17.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
