My weight loss is going so very slowly, especially compared to the first two weeks. I seem to gain weight over night while sticking to the diet pretty close to 100%, then it takes days to drop that weight. In the past week, I've only lost .2 pounds?? How very frustrating! It's hard some days to stick with it when I see so little loss. I keep asking myself why I'm sacrificing the foods I really love when I'm either losing so little or none at all. Then, I see a glimpse in the mirror and remember how far I have to go and know that I can't give up; I can't go back to where I was.
175.8 lb Lost so far: 12.2 lb.    Still to go: 50.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I will tell you what I have been doing, and you can make your own decison..I am on the atkins diet, but I only do the Induction phase. I tried doing each phase but it did not work for me. This is how it works for me. I will do the Induction phase for the 2 weeks straight. Then I will eat regualr for 1 week. Whatch out, make sure your weight stays the same this week, not up. Eat sugar, caffeine, carbs..anything you want. After that week, start Induction again. This is the easiest way for me. 2 weeks on, 1 week off. See the IMPORTANT part is, the week your off, you eat all the regular food again. This makes the Induction phase work again. Because it's the "detox" stage, you must detox in order to lose the weight. And this diet is less strick..I have lost about 10 pounds each Induction..but of course you can lose more, it depends on the person. I only excercise about 3 times a week..Also, make sure you take vitamins while on the atkins diet, period..a few years ago i did it, and lost a lot of weight, but hair too..lol..this time I take vitamins, and have had no problems..GOOD LUCK!

OMG Is like u read my thoughts too. I have been in the induction phase for the past month. but for two weeks I have added exercise. I get frustrated as well when i dont see any results. But u have to keep in mind that everyone will see the weightloss but u. Uggggghhhh. My problem is my gut. If i just get rid of that I would be good to go. The thing is i feel like my shirts is a lil loose but not as loose as i want it to be. But I am sticking in there. I have noticed that even though i didnt loose in the gut yet I have noticed changes in my face. Just keep the faith and keep on working on it. Remember that it takes time and u didnt gain this weight over night!
