Kristal L's Journal, 19 April 2022

Well after a short hiatus I'm back and hoping to stay full
speed ahead. (Well as much as I can can anyway) Last
week I hurt my knee closing the door. (No joke I was really just closing the door) I called my husband home from work to take me to the hospital and was told it's a good chance it's a torn meniscus.
The Dr was so rude to me. Choosing to look at me and say
out of nowhere and quite rudely "Maybe you should really
think about losing weight"., My husband was in shock and
was worried for the Dr as he thought I was going to throat
punch him. Lol. I looked at the Dr and said in a rather
annoyed tone "For your information I have lost almost 20lbs in the last 2 months so I'm trying. Also if you had gone
through my file you would have seen I was in an accident
and wasn't allowed to do much of anything until October of
last year and I have no gallbladder and a very under active
thyroid that doesn't help me with my weight loss. So I think
for the loss I've had in the last 2 months I'm doing rather good Thanks!"
Why do people just assume your not doing anything to help
yourself or that their is no underlying conditions. So hurtful.
This is why I have a small circle of peeps.
Down 20. 1lbs I'Il take that and keep pushing!
242.7 lb Lost so far: 20.1 lb.    Still to go: 42.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Doctors are like every other group. There’s always going to be some that are tone deaf and completely clueless. Unfortunately you got one of those.
