I'm closing in on the finish of the first month of my three-month dumbbell program. Went back and reread parts of the book. The book recommends light weights in the first month so I have downsized. Fifteen more minutes of weights and I'm done for the day and the week.

I didn't do Pilates because of procrastination, nothing more or less, not to mention the heat and the humidity. I will be glad when the freezer is emptier so that I can start freezing more ice packs and putting them in front the small fan. Last night, I installed the new window fan in the bedroom and put the old one in the kitchen, drafting in hopes of creating a vacuum and more air flow.The new and more expensive fan has more features but I'm not sure it's any more powerful than the $25 Walgreen's cheapo. It is quieter.

After eating a big burger at the open mic, I'm back on the eight-hour diet.
156.3 lb Lost so far: 7.9 lb.    Still to go: 26.3 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.7 lb a week
