Two days off because I kept the computer turned off. We had two days in the high nineties and it was just too hot. I was able to stick to my Pilates and dumbbell lifting. I figure if I can keep going in this weather I can keep going in just about any weather this summer throws at me although we're headed for a 100-degree day.

The 45-pound dumbbell set arrived and it looks good - just wish it hadn't taken nearly two weeks to get here. I'm grateful the postman actually carried it up the stairs to my doorstep. I'm glad I gave him a Subway gift card earlier in the month for making the extra effort with my packages. The new set means I now have a 13-pounder which falls between the 10 and 15 pound hexagonals. I also now have a 20-pounder I can used in sumo squats. One thing I have learned is that my muscle strength is all over the place. Some groups are stronger than others. I hope this evens out as I continue with this three month program.

Finally biked to Kroger after two days of air quality alerts. I had a bistro meal and bought some cherry bites and a half gallon of mint chocolate chip ice cream. I'm back on the chain gang, er, wagon
156.9 lb Lost so far: 7.3 lb.    Still to go: 26.9 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
