no matter how much i eat, i don't lose weight. go a bit over calorie limit, go way under, doesn't matter. maybe, at my age i was meant to be this heavy. if so, i won't be able to wear my new clothes on my cruise this fall. doing double spinning classes don't seem to work either. only a week, so guess i shouldn't give up yet.

Don't give up just because you're not seeing a change on the scale. With all the excercise you're doing, you may just be replacing your fat with muscle. Don't get discouraged by the number on the scale, you're body is transforming whether you see it or not. Keep your head up and keep up the great work!

thanks for the peptalk. it is discouraging to see no progress. a group i joined has had so many people losing weight quickly, i seem to be wavering in my resolve. today i did back to back spinning classes. we had 45 min then a 15 min break and then 45 more minutes on the bike. at least i can control my workouts.
