All that work and absolutely no progress. Went to the doctor yesterday - she didn't like blood pressure numbers and she mentioned the weight gain. *sigh* I go see her again in a couple weeks to see if I can get a better reading. *sigh*

Do you need to watch your sodium intake? Most of those foods you have labeled today are full of sodium and it can increase blood pressure in many people. Processed foods have way too much sodium. It's hard when you have very little to lose sometimes. The weight is hard to get off. Good luck!

My high blood pressure is because my valves in my heart don't work correctly. I monitor my blood pressure and food never seems to affect it. Making my heart stronger is why I exercise so much. I also drink anywhere between 101 and 134 oz of water a day.

Is there any salt better than the other? I HAVE to have salt on my food it seems or I need to figure another kind of seasoning but I wonder if thats why im stalling.

Supposedly medterian sea salt is better for you and they have great flavors.

Try using smoked sea salt. You use less just because it packs such a flavor punch with just a little bit. I've cut a lot of salt out using it. My favs are cherry wood smoked and alder wood smoked.
