Jada Petsch's Journal, 05 April 2011

Sooooo. 1/2 lb away from the 50lb mark. Soooo close. And for reaching 50lbs lost/half way to goal weight. I bought a new pair of capris from Ross, a tank top (firmly in 1x) from Kohl's. And we just happened to stop in the sporting goods store and look at the heart rate monitors and such. And they had The Bodymedia fit armband for 10 dollars!! O.O Marked down from a buttload more. And it came with 3 free months membership to the online site. Still think it's silly to have to buy a membership to access the data, but yeah. Wore it on my walk this morning and apparently I burned alot....couldn't help plugging it in when I got home. XD lol.

So now up to 13/50 miles for April. Walked 3 miles. Met a new walking friend at the park who is doing a Biggest Loser's competition at their office. ^.^ And I saved a caterpillar who must have been blown out of a tree last night during the storm. He was in the middle of the path, so I moved him to a nice safe tree so he wouldn't be squished by the walkers/runners.

My doctor's appointment went well. The cyst was starting to come back, but I caught it early, so I only had to get one needle stuck in my foot to put more steriods in. -__- I really hate needles. Necessary but not nice.

My body is SORE this morning. ugh. Must be the combo of all the walking and probably the 30 day shred workout that I did the night before last kicking in. Oh and having to tote the fussy teething terrible 2yr old through stores yesterday. She just wasn't a happy camper. But at least 2 of the molars have broken through. I just hope the next two come just as quick and then no more teething for awhile. I miss my sweet, good natured, mostly non-fussy child. :(

So going to take it easy today. No workout tonight. A nice long soak in a very hot bubble is called for tonight. Go to bed an hour earlier than I have been, since I'm getting up so early now. Probably will work on some light housework, and oh we have to go grocery shopping today.

Thank you Lea. ^.^ I love New (Smaller!!) Clothes!! I swear I'm shrinking out of sizes as fast as my 2yr old is growing into bigger ones. lol. And yus. I LOVE Baths. Quite relaxing time for me. And I always take a book along with me. ;) A bubble bath just isn't the same without one.

Possibly. XD Though I never want her to go through the type of journey I'm doing. I'm hoping my healthy lifestyle changes I have made will be with her for life as well.

Glad you are a BMF girl now too! You are gonna love it, no more guessing games on how many calories burned, etc. You might want to consider going to the website and ordering one of the xl bands to wear around your leg above the calf. I don't wear my arm band much at all, like it better on the leg and can always cover it up with pants. Just a thought. Congrats on the almost to 50 lbs, you will for sure hit it this week!

Lol Chris couldn't say no to a device that was marked down to 10 dollars and came with 3 months free membership. And he might have been trying to get me to feel better since I had to get stuck with a needle yesterday. :3 I was wondering about the leg thing. I'm okay with it on my arm, but your right about it being unnoticable on my leg....hrm...I'll have to ask hubs about it.

Actually it seems to fit on my calf just under my knee just fine with the regular strap. I don't feel it nearly as much there either.

Good job with all your progress!i can't feel a little jealous but a little inspired too.haha.I have that 30 day shred (with Jillian right?) and OMG>I'm sorry,I did only 1/2 of it once and I about died! So,if you are using that?HOLY COW girl!!!I am impressed-no wonder you need smaller clothes. Each size I go down,I am buying myself a pair of inexpensive jeans. And,when i get down to my goal weight i am buying myself one of those $150 pair of jeans as a gift for a job well done. You'd be surprised but that is one thing that really drives me and keeps my motivated I WANT THOSE 7 for all mankind JEANS!!!!

Lol. I've only done the workout once Lulu...on the day I only got one mile in. :( I would have a go at it tonight, but I'm really tired. 4.2 miles in today, a bunch of errands and the 2yr old teething terror. I've been buying a pair of Jeans at Ross each time the pants start trying to fall off my hinny. XD About every other size or so. When I get to my goal weight the first thing I do is get my wedding band resized. :) I haven't been able to wear it on anything but a necklace since December. The last I checked I went from a size 11 to a size 8.5. Can't wait to see a pic of you in your jeans either!! :D Woot! I bet they'll be FABULOUS on you. My advice about the shred is if you get tired, take a moment, calm your breathing, then jump back into it. I finished the workout, but I did have to take little pauses. Also did modified jumping jacks due to the regular ones put too much stress on my left calf (still have about 3 weeks left for it to be completely healed).

who knew that your fingers could drop sizes too!?And as to the jumping jacks-well,i HAD TO STOP because my boobs were bouncing so much that if I kept up I was gonna poke an eye out!(true story-lol).I think I mite try it again tho-just need to get this heinie motivated ;)

OMG! How exciting! 1/2 lb? WOOHOO!!!! What an awesome deal on heart rate monitor. I was looking at them at Target this weekend (not that brand), but too pricey for me for no more than I exercise. lol It would still be neat to have one though.

lol Lulu. XD You reminded me of a day a couple of weeks ago. I was out at the park and jogging and my boobs were kinda feeling weird..so I looked down and the darn things are trying to jump out of my bra. ;) haha. After that I started doubling up on sports bras for extra support and keep from flashing the public. O.O So if I were you I'd put on two sports bras, or invest in a new bra that holds the girls still better. :P You can get through that vid!! Just remember that the segments don't last very long. Switching so often from Cardio/strength/abs works for me. ^.^ @Kendra I'm Ecstatic about being so close. I was shocked at the mark down on the BMF, but I did take advantage of it. My sister berated me for not buying her the other one they had. lol. I would go back and get it for her, but it's a 45 min drive from my house. I'd say look every chance you get, never know when you'll find a kick ass deal! And it's pretty neat seeing all the stats. Anywho, good night everyone. My bed is calling and the alarm goes off far far too early. :)
