@Moon....just depends on the TYPE of food, right? I am still not up to my RDI, but staying at about 200 more cals/day than I have been eating for months. Will reassess week by week. Feeling pretty good though!😉

I am behind you - and slowly approaching the final goal in about a month and a half or so - How much did you adjust at the beginning - was it just the 250 calories extra per day and how many total calories are you now intaking.

@jergens...for about a week or so, I've tried to increase my cals to about 1200...which is really only about 200 difference (on average) from before. I may go up another 100 next week. I wouldn't mind losing another 10 lbs tho....

Right now I am intaking about 1,100 usually at the end of the day - more like 1,200 with a few days per month over 2,000 - when I food up for another run at it - I use the 1,200 to lose the weight. I have done long streches where I kept under 1,100 just to keep the weight moving off - in my mind - I cannot starve when I had 70 pounds of stored energy (aka fat) not possible. But if you have no more fat stores of energy to burn - then your body will start to use your lean muscle if you are using more calories per day then you take in. Without any fat energy stores - then with a really low CI - the body does act as if you are starving because you are in starvation mode. If you carry around a bag of potatoes every day that weighs ... say 20 pounds - you use energy to carry that weight - but when you are no longer carrying that weight the body is not using that energy - so sometimes it slows down the weight loss at the last because you are not carrying the same load everyday ---- I am just trying to figure it out - before I get there.

lol - just a thought - but maybe you want to carry a 20 pound backpack around every where every day ... I just thought of that.
