Back to square one. I just cannot keep my focus for very long. I've got to put me first and not get involved in other people's drama. I must focus on clean eating, clean drinking (water not wine) and getting enough exercise. This is the formula and I'm not following it. Today is a new day and I am determined to finish the day strong.

That's the right attitude! Wine is my vice as well - so I know how that goes. Its the weekend, and we know weekends are usually where we make bad choices - so make the right choices :)

If you cannot follow it at the moment, just go slower. Lover your standards for the time being. In a week or a month you'll get a momentum and a positive feeling and you can add more and more good changes to your diet. Just find you're own rhythm. If it's to hard, slow it down. It is a life change not a quick fix.

Hang in there! Check musclehack.com for lots of blog posts on what does and doesn't work for getting in shape. No fads there, just solid facts. No offense to Snekisss, but don't lower your standards! Instead, find out the truth about how weight-loss works. Hint, it's in finding the right combination of carbs, protein, and fat, totaling to the correct amount of calories for your current condition. Please do not just pick something crazy like 1,500 calories or 1,200 calories and start there. It doesn't work that way. Check out musclehack.com I'm having great success on his programs. Check my bio.
