Katsolo's Journal, 23 November 2021

Finally got to take the dogs for a walk last night. A slow one for the big guy, but 2.35 miles, so we got the steps in. Work is on fire this morning, so that's it for the moment. Everyone is happy and seems healthy, thankful, truly.

As suspected, water way up (hello, sodium), blob holding, muscle up since we finally got to walk. All good. Pants still fit.

The human body is supposed to be mostly water -------"Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%." ------ So your body water should be about 98.94 at 60% - so it is possible that you are dehydrated.

thanks, Jergens. I will definitely ask the nutritionist about that. I'm just not sure that I can handle 30 additional pounds of fluid and be functional.

I know - I laughed out loud - because 1 gallon of water weighs 10 pounds --- my knees would buckle if I take on any more water.

I have really been looking at my own Sodium intake since - let's face it - I am not a Spring Chicken - and salt is one of my favourite seasonings - and there a correlation between Sodium intake and artery damage...so I was forced to have an interest. Very interesting.
