Long day yesterday, but I snuck in a late swim. I did actually end up wearing flip flops to the office, but it was totally by accident. Of course, whenever I screw up like that, I see a bunch of people I know. And I did, and it's all good because they're friends and it's been forever. Over a year for some of them.

Swim was good. 875 strokes, 10.7METs, struggled a bit at the end and heart rate was 147. 13 minutes in warm up, 11 in peak. So I was cruising along until I wasn't and the battle was on to just finish. I did, and I did pretty good. 905 is still my current PR but this one was at 875 after a solid year in the mid 800's. Progress.

No walk, things got complicated in the afternoon. Blob is up sightly, muscle down, but I'm happy. Overall weight is down trending back to normal. I I like swimming. I forget that. I'm an idiot sometimes.

Work tsunami just hit. Gonna be fun, enjoy the day. Press on, press on.

Nice swim Kat, good to squeeze in a little time for yourself. I swim very slowly (I'm old and brittle) and so, for me, it is a Zen experience. I haven't been going to the gym lately, but your post makes me want to get back to it. Hope you have a very productive day. 🌞

aprzollm, swimming gives great results if you are able to do it frequently. sometimes I can, sometimes, I can't. I will be making the time because it helps my mental as well as my physical well-being. try it, if you love it, stick with it.
