for you to gain that much fat in three days you'd have to eat a ridiculous amount of calories and even then I'm not sure the body actually works that way.

I saw myself that way. I was on a Disney cruise for 4 nights all that buffet and off menu meals. Even when I worked out and ran the 5k the salt and carbs I couldn’t beat it.

It’s mostly water weight, you can’t gain that much in 3 days unless you were constantly binging on insane amount of foods. Weigh yourself again but two hours after waking up and haven’t eaten or drank anything

I went up almost 2 pounds overnight. I went to a concert danced, sweated my butt off to Weezer/Greenday/Fallout boy. I had 2 tall cans of blue moon beer. 1 chicken strip and a handful of garlic fries. fair food. fasted my whole day before the show. I was excited to see how much I sweated out. and I'm up. 😔

Yesterday. One day of not counting and eating snacks throughout the day. But also kayaked. Had a couple of cocktails too. Up 2#.

Not to worry ElocinAlways the scale is a fickle thing (maybe because it didn't get to go). It will get over it and correct itself. Have faith, you did good.

rickstewart1983 I did have some high calorie foods but I didn't think that much! Plus I was pretty active. I think some of it must be water weight because my face feels a bit puffy.. Back to being strict about my calorie counting! Thanks for the support everyone!

Unfortunately yes! I have been on the sugar train lately and I put on 3lbs! Back on track today! I am sure you will get it back off in no time. Best of luck.

Hey Alycat, yup, sound like it may be water weight gains especially if the foods were high sodium. Reset and go, cheering you on 💪🏾🥗

Yes I get like that but it might be water gain. Just get back on track ASAP

Yes, that happens. But it usually comes off within 3 o4 days if you get right back on track. It's mostly water weight.

Much easier to gain than lose. It’s totally unfair!!

Sodium, alcohol, and hormones at certain times of the month can result in this. get back to what works for you and you'll be fine.

Oh yeah. Just start over again at your next meal/snack. Like any addict, one day we decide that we just can't keep up with the the trauma of starting over so many times and then just stick with the plan that works for us. It has taken me YEARS to finally understand that I cannot eat like "normal" people and I have to stick to the pattern that works for me. You will reach that point too, maybe today, maybe next month, but you will get there. Hang in there!
