Day 35. Whoo hoo! Finally I'm in the 140s!! I got my protein powder yesterday; I'm hoping that I'll be able to increase my protein intake now without the added calories and fats. I'm just .8 pounds shy of reaching my mini goal of 149 by 29 March. I've got this! The next big hurdle is to get to 140 by 25 April. I really need to get my body fat tested though before I commit to that magic number. Looking into the "bod pod", maybe I can get it done next week. Thanks to all my buddies who have helped make this journey interesting AND energizing!

Thank you for the support Tim and Girl#1! It is amazing, just by being a steward of what I consume has reaped a harvest that I would not have imagined at the beginning of this journey. For years, I rejected the idea of counting calories - bemoaning that it was laborious, and caused me to think about food even more. Now, with this user friendly technology, accounting for my food intake and exercise expenditure is actually growing into a labor of love! In 35 days I've lost 7.2 pounds, that would of never happened on "Kim's own diet". I'm very excited (as you can tell), and I so appreciate the support from my fellow buddies! Tim, you are doing awesome yourself, sounds like you are approaching your "Glory Days" as an athlete :)

I've begun to look at counting calories as a kind of puzzle. Calories are my baseline, but within that there's my chosen balance of macros. It's kinda lika a sudoku, except not really at all. :) What flavour did you get?
