Let's do this for summer!

Even though I did have the day off today from work, I didn't want to jump right into everything all at once. I KNOW I would set myself up for failure. Too much change at once will get me worn out and not keep me motivated for long. This has been a brutal winter and I am taking things slow. Today was officially the start to me eating better.

Today I did walk my dog longer than I thought she would allow. I ended up carrying her for about two minutes back to the apartment - does that count for strength training even though she is three pounds? Bacca FINALLY allowed me to walk her on her leash. She is overcoming some obstacles as well.

I squeezed in a few lunges and a few squats; small steps maybe about 3-4.

Scott and I are wrapping up the evening by the nice, warm fire.

Good luck to everyone who is striving to live healthy and eat better! You have my support!

Yep our puppy is just 4 months old but 20 pounds, so i carry her around. Just having a dog can encourage you to do more exercise.
