Having a frustrating day as i gained a pound when it suppose to be coming off. I need to do some soul searching and get my mind in the right place. I know I can do this but I must really work hard in convincing my brain that i can too! I am sure it will get better. I can't let little things set me back otherwise why do it at all. One set back is encouragement to do even better next time.
263.6 lb Lost so far: 0.4 lb.    Still to go: 83.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

When you don't see the number on the scale go down like you want it too, use that to encourage you to try harder and push yourself harder to achieve what you want. Don't let a bad number discourage you, let it be the encouragement you need to push forward. It isn't going to be easy and it isn't going to happen over night. It took you this long in life to put it on, give your body a fair chance to take it off.

If you weigh yourself a lot, you need to understand that your body is made up of 60% water. This means that the scale change hourly based on many factors. Things like too much sodium yesterday, sore muscles from exercise, sickness, medications, stress, hormones, etc. all can make the scale go up. If you were on plan, then you know it is a temporary gain and it will go away. If you eat a lot of processed foods, they contain a lot of sodium and may make some people retain water. Are you drinking enough water to stay hydrated and flush out sodium? Google "why the scale lies" for some insight in to water weight gains. Don't let a gain here or there discourage you. You can be down 3 pounds tomorrow.

Thanks so much ladies. Your words of encouragement definately helped and the scale was down 2 lbs this morning. I will keep my head held high as I am in this for the long haul through all the highs and lows. I must realize I have the power within me to change! Thanks for all the healthy eating tips too Desiree. I think that will help me a lot!
