After my surgery 2 weeks ago, I let myself splurge on anything I wanted, because poor me. It started with a few small treats like brownies and Eggos, then moved up to the big league with pizza (several nights), Chinese, ice cream on the regular, bread/bread/bread. Every morning I tried to start a diet but said “ah screw it” just as my worst fears predicted. I can’t seem to get control back.
To my surprise, I actually lost weight this week… So my thoughts are perhaps I’ve lost water from not drinking enough, or I’m losing muscle from not exercising, or else my hysterectomy corrected some imbalance but that really wouldn’t explain eating 2000+ calories each day without gaining… Anyway it’s noon and I’ve promised today is the day to get off sugar, and next week will get back to walking/cycling again.
172.6 lb Lost so far: 50.8 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Be careful. That has happened to me when we went on vacation. I believe it was as you said. I was losing muscle as I work out quite regularly. On vacation that wasn't the case. It could also be a hormone imbalance thing as well. Get back into those healthy habits now before it gets way to hard!!💜💜
