I was close! I guessed the post surplus food baby at 116.4, and low and behold it's 116.8!

Man O' man, if I was a betting girl I woulda won that bet! LOL

Now for a little confession before all the foods and macros are listed for yesterday's surplus day.

Friday was a very high burn day for me. I ended the evening with a 2713 calorie burn.

That is a LOT of cals to burn in a day anyway one looks at it.

I had a lot going on that day notwithstanding working from home until 12:00, doing clean up in the kitchen, because Mom was recovering from the second COVID vaccine shot, and cleaning my master suite which is about the size of a studio apartment. And, then couching in a mobility session.

On these days, I will usually do one 25 minute walking circuit in the morning, and substitute the second walking circuit with a 40 minute bike ride.

Only Friday, I was inspired to hike it up to a 45 minute bike ride using the "ascent" program and ended at 16.6 plus miles with a 669 calorie burn, which of course contributed to that 2700 cal burn at days end.

And, no I don't normally have bike rides with cal burns like that on a Friday or even go for that long.

But, as I stated I was just so inspired.

Inspired by what?

Well, Imma let everyone on FS know a little secret about who and what inspires me. Anyone on here or outside of here that has lost or is trying to lose more than 100 pounds, in it for the long haul, working very hard to lose it in a consistent sustainable manner in order to improve their over-all health and well being just uplifts this girl to know end in ways I cannot even explain.

If you're one of those folks reading this, just know I have dedicated whole workouts to you. You have been the reason I show up to do the work and that I keep going.

I never wanted to confess this because I don't want ANYONE trying to lose 100 lbs or more to think I'm inspired because I'm somehow trying to avoid ending up in that position.

For heavens sakes, I'm 97 lbs. down (minus surplus day weight, LOL)

I'm inspired because folks attempting that journey muster so much phenomenal courage, grace, beauty, and light from within just to take the very first step...

It humbles me to tears...if you're one of these folks ---> YOU'RE COURAGE AND GRACE IS PART OF THE REASON I SHOW UP AND HAS BEEN SINCE THE BEGINNING!

Why? Because, my own inner being whispers "if they can do it dammit - SO CAN YOU"

And, it never fails when I'm inspired in this way and I dedicate a workout to someone who impacts this girl's heart with that kind courage and grace - this body kicks A$$ in the gym!

So, yeah that happened on Friday.

But, that also means that I was technically over 900 cals in a deficit from my normal weekly burn. So, even though I had a 4500 cal surplus day - ya might as well already minus 900 plus cals from that average.

But, there's still a good pump this morning. On the whole there 1400 plus cals to play with a decent store of glycogen. I've obviously retained water and over 400 grams of carbs in a day is still nothing to scoff at.

It's not as much as I've had in the tank on previous surplus days, but it will still make for an awesome workout :-)

Okay, enough of this - Here's yesterday's breakdown. It's not all in the pic.

@Doogle - thank you! I always feel a bit strange taking any credit for the last 37 when I hit goal at 150 lbs. But, between using the reverse diet method and increasing cals slowly in addition to setting new fitness goals - it was inevitable. One can definitely say, I wasn't technically trying to lose the last 37, but I wasn't stopping it either. LOL - However, at 113 lbs we're definitely about maintenance! @Hebrews - I have to say, I just love perusing the data. I mean it's all approximation and averages at the end of the day, but it's also kind of cool to observe how different trends impact this body. Sometimes, it's consistent and sometimes it's not, and most times the data teaches me there's so much I don't know about all these bodily process. I still think "metabolism" will always be a bit of a mystery. LOL - But, it's fun to follow nonetheless. And, thanks DP! I have a love of black white photos. I love that vintage quality. Makes me remember old vinyl album covers. And, thank you carol, John, mountain, HCB, wifey, and lorie - your own journey's are no less inspiring to this girl and I'm blessed to enjoy the energy you bring :-) And, yes Lorie! You are 100% correct. Where there is an open heart, there will always be an abundance of grace :-)
