I don't have much planned for today, other than getting in some strength training and some cardio. It's tomorrow I'm kinda worried about.

One of my very good friends is celebrating her birthday on the 22nd. The actual party is being held at a bowling alley. Kinda cool. However, it's one of those 24 hour places, and the party doesn't start until 9pm. The biggest problem is that she wants to get together earlier in the day and go shopping and out for lunch. Normally this would not be a problem. And I love her dearly, but whenever I got out with her, I have this horrible urge to overindulge. I really don't know exactly why, but it might have something to do with the fact that when we first became friends, we were the heaviest girls at work. We wore the same size, liked the same kinds of clothes, among other things that brought us together.

Now, she's still pretty heavy, and even though I'm far from being skinny, I'm lighter than her by about 60 - 70 lbs. She jokes about how I'm no fun to go clothes shopping with 'cause I'm smaller, but I don't know if it's really a joke.

We're still really good friends and tend to hang out quite a bit...but it's a weird sensation anytime we decide to grab a bite or a coffee. Most especially if I hang out at her place. She and her husband both love pop and candy and other treats, so that stuff is everywhere in her house. And there I am, sorta bingeing on sugary stuff, or high calorie meals or whatever.

I guess I should really stop whining. She's a great friend...and it's my own fault if I can't control myself in terms of food.

Well, I don't know about the sugary binges but your chart shows a 4.5 pound loss in just two weeks. That is really the important thing and shows that you are doing a lot of things right. Keep up the good work buddy!
