Good week so far, here early because of an early meeting. First, got a message from my scale this morning that blob continues to notch down which is exactly what I've been working towards. Note that weight is staying fairly stable, it's the composition that's changing. More muscle is good!

Great NSV last night, I had pulled out some shorts and in that drawer was a pair of goal jeans I'd put away. They had never ever fit, the first time I tried them on, I couldn't get them over my thighs, much less zip or button them. Pulled them on, and they fit. I can wear them, some people would wear them, and I think the last time I tried them on was over a year ago. I can zip them up and button them and I can breathe. That said, I don't do muffin top unless we're talking about eating them. The interesting thing is that I'm carving down the blob while on a higher caloric intake trend. I don't think it's magic, it's because I'm doing more cardio and it's a delicate balance. There is a difference between my swimming, which is a mix of cardio and strength, and the walking/treadmill, which is full on cardio. I'm also continuing to play with the cable machine and I love it. it would be great to have free weights, but I'm not paying the crazy prices. I'll hit garage sales when life is more normal.

Medium walk last night with the beasts, it was super clear and the sky was amazing, we went fast. I love those nights. I'm on track to hit my goal mileage for the month, I got more swims in once I noticed I was slacking off, and I'm really enjoying the treadmill with the interactive classes. Call me crazy, I didn't see that one coming given how much I used to loathe it. I have decided to keep it inside for now as I'm much more likely to jump on later in the evening if it's in the room rather than out in the back office.
