Thursday :)

I have decide I am going to start biking for fitness! I am going to take my bike to a shop tomorrow for a check-up and pick up some winter biking gear. Stopped there today on my way to Costco and talked to them about what I would need to get started. I joined a womens biking group yesterday and they have a novice ride on Monday that I want to get ready for. I hope it won't be tooooo cold... if it is I might chicken out :)

Exercise: 45 min elliptical 2.8 miles, 45 min weight lifting lower body
Vitamins: No (I still have to remember to take these!!)
Rosacea: 1 = mild flare - New spots, no trigger foods eaten. Used Prosacea. Stress is definitely a trigger. Had a major upset last night, my face completely flushed to where I could feel the heat and within just a few hours the spots broke out.
170.2 lb Lost so far: 9.8 lb.    Still to go: 25.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I have a friend named Joan who is 10 years older than I am and she inspired me a couple of years ago because she told me "I want my figure back"...Well she hit the American River Bike trail and the next time I saw her she had melted away 50 pounds!....I hope you enjoy it as much as she does...I am sure you will. TOWANDA!!!!!

Cynthia, I think that is a wonderful idea. Don't think we have any groups of that nature here, but I may look into, check at the bike shops, I love bicycling, but don't think I would just do it by myself...Have a wonderful day.

Wow 50 pounds that is awesome and 10 years older... very encouraging :) Raven I hope you find a group, I am so excited about this!

Yep, she is 58 and doing great! Her bicycle trail stories are very amusing as she tells us about the wild life she encounters along the way. She has this one squirrel friend that doesn't have a tail and hops around like a bunny...TOWANDA!!!!
