A new year, new start yet again😕 as my weight is spiraling out of control. My health is not good and I know it will help to lose weight but I do comfort eat when I'm in pain and feeling low.
Just feeling a little lost and lonely with all that's going on but know I should be more thankful for what I do have and that I can take control over my weight I just need to be motivated
193.0 lb Lost so far: 30.0 lb.    Still to go: 39.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hi! I totally feel the same and it's so frustrating when you do well with losing weight and then you start not feeling or for me not getting enough sleep and that's me back to eating all the sweets there is in my cupboard. Thinking of you and I know you can do it!

you'll get there, one step at a time. we've all got our ups and downs but the good thing is, we're a community and we help each other through the tough times. keep your chin up, think positive and you'll do wonders 😙

You'll come through this low patch, it's such a difficult time atm. Have faith in yourself! Be kind to yourself! :)

right there with u Jane. I suffer with spine injury, which means I can't exercise as much so put more weight on, which affects my knees and hips, also affects my mental health....vicious circles! BUT I want u to know that it CAN get better, last lockdown I used to get my mental health right, got to do that first or all else will fail. I use a meditation app in the morning to set my day up, also for managing pain and helping me to sleep. (Insight Timer app free on Google Play) My routine has been lacking through Xmas but usually I'm up at 6am every day,,gives me peace to meditate, get shower n coffee before my daughter awake, also helps my sleep routine later coz I'm so tired 😂 I stopped alcohol, depressed me more and ate more too. During first lockdown I went from taking 18 tablets a day, to now taking 1 a day for my thyroid! I've not even had a paracetamol in about 8mths. This is how I KNOW that you can do this,,make the decision, get ur routine sorted, try the app and start doing things to bring ur mood up, get the music on&boogie in ur living room, get a big art attack on the go, watch some stand up comedy and giggle,,and know that there is loads of people here who have brilliant advice and support for you ❤️

you are not alone. I'm at the heaviest I have ever been - apart from my pregnancy! I dont even have a painful medical condition so absolutely no excuse for me apart from comfort eating and enjoying the wrong type of food. we are all on our own journey but absolutely feel for you. you are here so step one ticked off 🙂
