been holding well with the fast. something i did not expect though was the sensation of hunger becoming less and less, when it is too intense though I just drink a bottle of water and its all good. Acid reflux which i used to get everytime i eat is now an extremely rare occurance. My eating habits have changed a lot and i dont feel like im dying to have something. snacks arent as desirable, soda has no interest for me any more even juices. I still enjoy natural juices like cold pressed or mechanically juiced but thats pretty much it. Oh man and homemade food tastes so much better its so weird! i cook the same nothing has changed in what i season with or anything, everything just tastes so good! lol weird...weird. hope you had a happy new year, and get through this pandemic see you next weigh in.

That's awesome! I started a very loose 16:8 intermittent fasting regiment a few weeks ago (put on pause for xmas, of course, haha) and I've had a very similar experience! Particularly empowering to me is knowing that when I do get hungry, I know I don't HAVE to eat whatever is available around me RIGHT THIS MOMENT, but that I can wait until a healthier option is available. I agree with you on foods and tastes, too! Earlier today I allowed myself some gummy candies, usually my fave, but they were overly sweet and gave me a stomachache and a headache immediately. What a wakeup call this has been. =)

I know right its so crazy. I never thought to think empowering but you're absolutely right, it is i feel like i was once a prisoner to my bad eating habits where as now its like "you have no power here!"
