I found the cookies and the cookies found me! Blob up, but will drop back down again. No swim, no walk, but read on... Mixed it up yesterday and did a decent urban hike in a nearby canyon. The City has made a ton of improvements since the last time I was down there in June. We went almost three miles in my own "backyard" and only saw two other people. I love that. The canyon we were in is flat at the bottom, but the walls which is where the exits are, are pretty darn steep and I was definitely breathing harder on those parts which is great. It means I need to do more of it and since I have the next five days off, I probably will. I am going to swim. Adventures! Enjoy all these pictures of furry butts. Merry Christmas to you, too, Shrewdness and bearnoggin. I'm experimenting making chickpea pasta at the moment, but I think we'll be doing another one later this afternoon. It's really chilly today so perfect for going the other direction along the rim of the canyon. The crazy thing is that we should be able to see the ocean and Mexico from the other direction if the clouds aren't too low. I like being able to see the edge of the world.

Today is a day for breaking rules. it started raining so we're not going hiking. I turned on the TV during daylight. I'm drinking coffee after 2PM and I added a dash of cognac. I had a giant biscotti (so I counted it as 2 to be safe calorie wise) so I'm about to go on a caffeine and sugar high trip. Woot woot! I do have to figure out if I'm going to swim or treadmill. It's crazy town in my house arrest party house!!!
