Quick and dirty this morning. Busier than expected. Long walk last night even though I was intending to only do medium, forgot to turn left and there we were. Durp. Thinking about starting my free trial of Apple's fitness + on Friday. I'd do it earlier, but my life is chaos and I would waste those days. Trying to get even more veggies in through the end of the year. Also thinking I should order food tomorrow so that I don't get stuck in that weird holiday rush next week. That means my spinach will be older than I like, but I can freeze half and suck it up. Shutdown still sucks. I've been eating earlier and walking earlier and then going to bed. That said, I'm grateful that Sadie's vet visit yesterday went well. She is my baby. We will do as many long walks as she wants. That's the promise I made when I got her. Maybe dog beach this weekend. She looks so sweet! Your Sadie is a lucky girl to have you to love her and care for her and take her on long walks. I had a golden. We grew up together and she was the dearest friend. I will forever have a soft spot for a silver faced golden. ❤️

Thanks, guys. This tiny girl is actually a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, or Toller. She looks like a mini Golden except she has a white blaze, white feet and crazy levels of energy at 13. They’re marvelous dogs as long as you can exercise them. She’s 42 lbs, all muscle, no fat, still ball obsessed.

She sounds wonderful! Many goldens have been bred poorly because of their popularity and have so many health issues. Her breed sounds so interesting. I'm particularly partial to Canadians! I married one! 😁

She is super silky soft and loves to give attention almost as much as she loves getting it, bearnoggin. She is also very good at puppy kisses.
