Ahhh, the holiday leftovers....I got rid of all of mine, gave them all away, with the exception of a bit of turkey. The last of the sweets will be out of here today. Have fun shopping!

Thanks, Stef! I know we have 2 pumpkin pies left, and I meant to take those to my neighbor's yesterday. She has 5 kids who could make short work of them! I am looking forward to getting some fresh veggies in this house. :)

Oh man, I hear you, I got snowed in with my family over Christmas (big blizzard in the northeast) and I swear all I ate for three days was ham. Almond butter is EXCELLENT, Kat, you'll love it. I need to go shopping for real food today too - or at the very least stuff I can easily heat from Trader Joe's so I don't feel compelled to go through drive thrus and eat crap.

Hey, coco, first of all, Happy New Year! :) and did I tell you I LOVE whole foods? I just love being there. Walking around there is never boring to me. They give away a bite of fresh baked pizza samples and even you ask every single kind of pizza they have, they never give you a look and still smiling at you:) And their olives are sooo good and don't even get me started about their cheese collection. They also provide all kinds of house made food if you don't bother to cook. All cooked in healthy ways. I can't live without one WF store near by. I love Trader Joe's too and there are so many things TJ's don't carry cuz it's not popular items yet WF have in varieties. I love their veggies, too. Things are not common to most of people like burdock roots. Enjoy your healthy veggies and have a happy Monday!

@kat and sue -- Almond butter just sounds fabulous! I will have to look into that. @happynow -- we love cruising around WF for fun too. I like seeing unusual things outside the standard iceberg lettuce and carrots at the regular supermarket, and those cheese samples are the best!
