Spoke with immediate neighbors and Halloween is on. Not for open trick or treating, but decorating and maybe some selective treats for the littlest ones so they're not disappointed. Doing lights, a scary ghost and the skeleton dogs.

I saw someone came up with a candy slide. What a neat idea. Our kids are going to do a Halloween candy scavenger hunt here at home with some spooky fun decorations up. It’s not too much of a loss not to trick or treat for them because the smallest ones are 5, 4, 1 1/2. 😊

The slide idea is cool. I have about eight mini Play-dohs left from last year. That is two for each of the little kiddos on the block and then we'll turn out the lights. Might borrow mom's reacher from when she had hip surgery to hand them out. or a dishwashing glove. Something dramatic. I don't want a bag of candy leftover in my house. Too hard to get rid of even if I send it to work with BF. Plus, that might not even be allowed these days. I have no idea.
