Intermitant fasting off and on, but I'm going to get back on the fasting train in the next few days or so a bit more stringently. Weight has been fluctuating a lot, but I'm definitely feeling like I'm putting on a bit more bulky muscle and keeping the fat down. I hit a low of 186 randomly a few weeks ago, but I celebrated it with a well timed visit from my brothers from Florida and the trips to the buffet that came with it. I am kinda bad about celebrating my lows with eating my way to new highs lol.

Exercise wise, I am on point. At least 3 visits to the gym a week and random games of outdoor basketball between those.

Diet wise, I have forsaken cutting calories and trying to keep my calories around 2500 a day (failed today :P). I upped my carbs and calories to try to get my body acustomed to the higher calories count and stimulate my metabolism to accept an higher caloric count as a norm. I love bro science, but I'll keep an eye on my weight and hope for results.

I'm loving all the extra calories, carbs, and fats :) Avocados and coconut oil make up the bulk of the extra fat. The extra carbs coming in the form of plain ole potatoes (sweet if i'm lucky, but i'm not nitpicking).

I'm back in the gym keeping care to avoid over working my shoulders because of the rotator issues. The exercising has been going great. My body is responding really well to the weights again. Knees are holding up, but I did mildly sprain my ankle on the court, but no bruising and slight swelling so not much to worry about.

The plantar fasciitis is being controlled, but is ongoing. I don't have horrible pain towards the ends of my games, but I do have an all day soreness and dull ache. I have been alternating tennis ball massage and ice bathes while wearing the splint while I sleep. This is helping stave off any worsening, but I'm coming the to sad realization that the only way it will fully heal is to lay off the basketball for a good long while. I have been using an expensive insole as well that was reviewed highly on Amazon for PF issues, but it doesn't feel like it helps much. My love of flip flops and basketball has hindered my healing. I'm not in my twenties anymore...I need to play smarter not harder.

Following Elliot Hulse's Grow Stronger training routine and I really enjoy it. I, particularly, like the addition of a stretching routine to my mornings and gymnastic exercises at the end of my weightlifting routine. Makes my body feel a bit more spry and lithe.
