Just got on the scale for a kick and it read 312.4, this is a new-scale and I am not sure of it so I have ordered a weight watchers scale to see if there is a problem. So I now will have 2 new scales, no excuses for not staying with this. I will update when the new new scales is delivered.

JFI: Scales are all calibrated differently and you can weight something different on each one (they should be within a couple pounds of each other). The flooring should be hard and level for the most accurate reading. I would pick one as your "official" scale and just use the other for reference or fun. The best thing to do is get a heavy object you know the weight of and put it on the scale. I use a 10lb hand weight (to test scales accuracy). Weigh in the same time of day, same clothes, same everything to accurately gauge your weight loss. You can actually weigh more after a shower than before a shower.

Suzi161, I have my scale on a hard floor surface I just can not believe that I lost so much in a 24 hour period so I ordered a little better scale. I will see what I weigh when it come in and will use it as my main scale. Thanks so much for your information.
