I blame the first night of Chanukah. I was doing fine foodwise, then someone in class gifted me a spicy beef empanada, and how could I turn that down? Then in honor of the festival of lights, I fried avocado slices, which are approximately a billion calories each.
Today I'm going to try and be better about accounting for deepfried goodness ahead of time.
