Katsolo's Journal, 21 August 2020

Happy Friday. Not worried about this one, walked short course and got home and swam last night. Was not a great swim, but I muddled through it. 737 strokes, couple different rests because I just couldn't find my groove in the water and got annoyed. 9.7 METs (told ya it was crap) and average heart rate mid 120's. We're just going to leave that one behind. I had considered just sitting in the bubbles, but I decided to swim. Not going to lie, work is going to be a time suck through the end of September, so I will try and plan better tonight. I do not like humidity. I am aware it's not bad here, but I'm not used to it and it sucks the life out of me as far as moving. Even in the pool.

Hot plans for the evening in this age of the plague? Going to build an IKEA desk. Oh, the fun we'll have!

Onward!

That should be fun building a desk! We have had high humidity where it feels like well over one hundred for most of our summer. It has been awful. It is cooler now finally.

it was breezy on the walk last night and where the wind was blowing, it was delightful. where it wasn't, put me into a serious sweat. so gross. enjoy the cooler weather. September/October are our super hot months here although the humidity may go away some.
