juggler's Journal, 22 January 2009

I have been pretty down on myself for not sticking with my program. The holidays, the weather, my crazy work schedule.... you name it I can come up with an excuse. On the bright side today I have registered for Bloomsday 2009 and I am beginning my training so I have a very positive outlook that I will be able to reach my previous weight and my goal weight within no time.

This will be my 3rd Bloomsday run in a row and every year I get so excited about doing it. It really is crazy because I detest running, but ever since we got our Doberman last year he has inspired me to move a little faster to exercise his long legs. We are both very anxious to get outside and start training outdoors. I feel quilty when I use my elliptical instead of taking him out but I just don't do well in the freezing temps. (i know, another excuse huh?)

My husband has agreed to do the Bloomsday run with me this year and I am really looking forward to training with him, although our schedules never coincide so that we will be able to do much together until the actual event.

Anyway, any other Bloomies out there?


152.0 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 6.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
