what's going on? could be a couple of things. change in meds two weeks ago due to unavailability, I'm not sure how much that has to do with it, but it's probably not helping. I've felt crappy the past two days, almost went to bed after work last night, decided to suck it up and swim, which was a crap swim, but I did it anyways. Obviously, I'm eating too much for whatever is going on, so back to 1200-1300 until it goes back down. FWIW, I'm not doing anything crazy that's not logged, so focus should get it back on track.

Logging info for consistency, heart rate is going to be low because I stopped twice (paused the timer) for equipment adjustments. 817 strokes, 9.3 METs, heart rate in upper 130s. I took my temperature after just for giggles, was 96 because pool was cold and it was 68 when I swam. Just a data point.

What's good? I swam even though I felt like crap and didn't want to. Used the big paddles and once the goggles and snorkel were properly fitted, I swam all the way through the set. Muscle mass up/maintaining over the last month, so there's definitely a permanent gain there. I've been working with weights and bands where I can. 10-20 minutes, sometimes less if I'm on a call. I'm back to more normal food as far as spinach and veggies although I need more variety. Going to take out a piece of salmon for tomorrow and grab some green beans from a neighbor who offered.

What's meh? I have been working more/walking less. Fat mass also up. Not getting double workouts with walking dogs/swimming for the last two weeks. I don't feel good this week (upset stomach two days, no fever or anything of real concern although I have to "self monitor").

I am aiming for 20 swims in August. I should probably shoot for 100 miles as well. Totally doable, I just need to do it. So simple, right? 🤪

I was still a little sluggish getting out of bed this morning, but feeling more normal today. a little cranky, but that has more to do with my inbox than anything else. Press on, move forward.
