How have I managed to not swim two days in a row? I've gone out walking earlier with the dogs each time and run into people, and I guess we're all in the mood to reconnect. So while it's been great from a mental health perspective, I haven't been in the water because I'm getting home much later than normal. On the other hand, I think we're becoming more human again and a little less fearful which is not to be confused with less cautious.

Last night's walk. I walked, I chatted, and I met the original owners of a house that I've admired ever since I moved here - they just moved back after renting their house out for twenty years and he's a master gardener, so I'm excited to glean some knowledge on the old growth plants in our yards. I also saw a pole dancing class in the park. Who knew? But way to be creative. I'd fall on my butt and break something for sure. Amazing. I will try and snap a pic at some point, but I didn't want to be a gawker last night with my three dogs.

I came home and did weights, bands and kettle bell stuff for 1/2 hour. I like the feeling of strength. Been watching a couple new YouTubers for inspiration to do stuff when I run out of time. I'm thinking I need to swim during the day, work until later and walk before dinner. Still the same number of hours in the day, just different challenges on how to use it. I already know that if I shift my work schedule to start earlier, I still work until the same time in the afternoon because I like when it gets quiet and I can get into the zone, so that's not really an option. Plus, I get stuff done in the morning before work because I'm not tired. I guess it's all a matter of deciding what's important at any given time. I'll think about it.

Skin has mostly cleared up, so that's good. Yay, steriods! Just kidding, but glad I have them on hand. I think I'm going start wearing gloves in the store since that seems to be a thing for me both times. Or maybe just coincidence?

Goals are to stay safe and stay healthy and keep those around me safe and healthy too. A little worried about the long car trip, I need to think about it. Think, obsess, all the same at the end of the day in this head. Ugh, wish the stakes weren't so high. Maybe we just go somewhere closer and pretend it's far away? I dunno. I need an escape.

Mind is busy spinning this morning. Just be glad you don't live in there. It's a busy place sometimes. Why I work. Keeps me out of it most of the time.

Sounds like the connections were more important than the strokes the last couple days! You have good thoughts and good plans! I sometimes wear gloves to stores to protect my hands when I have splits that could become infected... I hate sore hands. Yay for steroid cream. I'm so thankful for it or life would be really miserable sometimes. I don't use is much, but... 👍
