I'm almost afraid of how well South Beach is working for me! I'm eating lots of good tasting food (thank goodness this diet allows salt - I missed it on the Fat Flush plan!!!).

I was between 156 and 157.5 on Dec 30 - started the diet on Jan 2 and when I weighed in this morning I was 148! Ok, I am being good and running 3 miles a day and have been pretty faithful to the phase 1 requirements but this is way better than I expected to do.
148.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 16.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 10.5 lb a week

It happens pretty quick when you stick to it just as you're supposed to! I lost 12 pounds the first 14 days and thats right on par with what the book says you can expect. Way to go, keep up the brilliant work. Bravo!
