Ninette's Journal, 23 October 2010

OK, yesterday wasn't too bad. 1,200 cal/day are enough as long as I don't eat chocolate or chinese food. Spending more than 1 hr. at the gym was easy too, the eliptical was "fun" 'cause I watched the food chanel while I "exercisd off" 600 cals in an hr. without raising my pulse over 120. (I wonder if those machines are correct as far as cals). I hope I'll have another good day today... well... I will! :)

I hope you have a good day too!! The thing about those machines is that they only know your weight when considering how many calories you've burned. They don't know your body composition which also makes a difference as far as how many calories you'll burn while exercising AND while doing nothing. That number is just an estimate- if you want a more accurate number (and this would be for the whole day, not just during exercise) a bodybugg is an excellent tool. :) http://www.bodybugg.com
