183.6! I'm in some new territory now, haven't been here since 1995 at least. Find it rather annoying that I wear larger clothing at this weight now than I did then, but I do what I can. At least I can wear the 16's now rather comfortably (for the most part, depends on manufacturer). I like being able to shop for clothes without having to shop the plus sizes. That was one of my motivations, and it's a good feeling. I was at 233 last June when I started this...15 months later, and I am just shy of 50 lbs lost.

Continuing to improve on situps and wall pushups. Hoping to get this rotator cuff strong enough to attempt some real pushups at some point, but it's still in the distance. Had a 2 yr checkup on my hip yesterday, all is well there. The elliptical has really helped with the muscle spasms I used to have. A lady who was still recovering from the surgery approached me yesterday, asking about my experience, as she felt hers was taking too long. It took almost a year on crutches for me to return to walking on my own, and there was pain off and on for some time after that. It felt good to be able to offer encouragement that yes, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. But also felt good to think about how much better I am doing now. Losing almost 50 lbs I'm sure has helped my hip a good deal as well, but pushing through therapies and exercising is the best thing for those muscles. My low back problems have also pretty much disappeared. Can't remember the last time I had any muscle spasms dragging me down. Perserverance. The end result is worth it.
183.6 lb Lost so far: 49.4 lb.    Still to go: 13.6 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Thanks shia and info. Was down a bit more this morning. I'm in uncharted territory. Realizing I need more toning exercises in my routine now too.

Great job! You deserve to have a pat on the back! Even though it's not easy, keep it up!
