I am using the guidance in Dr Hyman's new book - The Blood Sugar Solution - not because a have a blood sugar problem but that I have a sugar problem (realized this while on the Dukan diet when I started throwing splenda in EVERY Dang Thing) In addition, Dr. Hyman's perspective comes from much more current science & study + the recipes are magnificent. Another revelation, you need some fat in your diet for your health & weight loss. It needs to be the Right fat(s),
This is basically, good clean whole food eating. Very little if not any sugar & processed food. Lot's of detoxifying foods, basically no dairy - at least for me. I admit, I do have some very limited dairy but I am slightly allergic to dairy. I can also have a little and stop as it's generally not a trigger food for me unless I've been over indulging for some time.
