WOW... 4 pounds gained in 1 week. I was expecting a gain but... =(
I wasn't going to weigh in tonight beause I was scared of what i was going to see. But I told myself that I need to be accountable to see what going back to my "old" habits can do for me. I am feeling pretty empowered right now and I want more than anything to have a great week. I was telling a member of my family that I was having problems sticking with my eating habits. I thought she would give me words of encouragement but her response was "good". I felt hurt because shouldn't my family want me to succeed. i mentioned this to my best friend and he told me that is was probably just her being jealous of my success. I still don't get it and that shitty comment just gave me the push I need to get back on track. I can't wait for next week. I'm back fatsecret...I missed you.
222.2 lb Lost so far: 26.8 lb.    Still to go: 57.2 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 4.4 lb a week

You're friend is probably right. That comment is a sign of jealousy & her own uncomfortable feelings revolving around her. Let it fuel your fire if it's going to get you going & back to where you need to be. And it is quite empowering & insightful (when one takes note) what going back to your old eating habit can do for you. Glad to see you're back & I wish you the best = )

Hi,yeah yr family can be more destructive than yr enemy, I've had it done ro me, yes its jealousy and I feel as in my case CONTROL. When most people are "overweight" they have low self esteem, also I learned over yrs is that, if one family member is "fat" the other jealous "COW" (pardon the pun) wants that person to stay fat and controllable to make there own self esteem better. Try ignore the "COW" and you keep yr down weight days to yourslf and the true people who are behind you. You have a new extended family here on FATSECRETS , if having a bad weight week, tell you, we are all in same boat, wewont judge, record yr food intake and we can check it out together and see what can be causing "fliid retaintion" some weeks when you feel you have been good PS If Hungry and you know you HAVE eating enough, brush yr teeth, this will really help you to get through the 20 mins or so that yr brain needs to tell yr stomach yr full. good luck and welcme back.
