poohle's Journal, 14 November 2019

I just looked when was the very first time I found this app and my God it was way back in August of 2015. When i look back so much has happened that got me off track and gain all this weight. And I did so good 4 years ago. I could be at my goal weight and maintaining it right now😔. I am an emotional eater/stress eater. I've started over so many times and tried different ways to eat and nothing worked. My biggest blow came when my mom passed away last year and I became a human trash can that would eat everything under the sun. The outcome: depression, back pain, knees starting to hurt, shortness of breath and elevated cholesterol. I'm hoping this time around I can get a grip of myself and loose the weight. I like this community of people because we are all here for the same reason and we can support each other. I'm glad to be back and see all the progress everybody else is making and learn some new things. 😊

Welcome back. I had the same problem that you have eating out of emotion. i never thought that i could ever find a solution. i tired therapy and all but nothing seemed to helped. Until i started intermittent fasting, i have not just lost 13.2kg in 5 months but it has also helped my psychological state when in comes to food. i no longer need food to deal with my emotion. So you can do it. Go for it.
