Donna Mashburn's Journal, 26 October 2019

So...it has been 5 years since I was in the 170s and I only managed to stay there for about 2 1/2 months. Prior to that, I hadn't seen the 170s since my first year in college. I weighed 145 when I got married at the age of 18 and the weight shot up when I started college. I'm excited and a little apprehensive. I had a hard time staying here the last time. I feel this will be a little easier as I have changed the way I eat as opposed to just trying to cut back on what I eat. I am an impulse eater. If it is there, I am likely to eat it.

I recalculated my RDI for the 160 pound goal I set and now I am trying to get 1470 cals per day. So far, I have been good with it. My workouts continue to improve. I have graduated to 10 pound dumbbells. Doing more pushups off my toes. My stamina is also improving. My coworkers have been complimenting me a lot recently, telling me how healthy I am looking these days! That is very rewarding. I have also had to go back through my clothes and get out more of the smaller things. I have dropped from an 18 to a 12.

I am in a good place right now. Enjoying the journey. Excited. Curious. Hmmm.
