Today is day 9 of the Mary's Mini-diet. I am at the halfway mark and back into the 206 range. I haven't been here since February/March so it's feeling like a good Friday. I have also managed to squeeze in my other morning rituals this past week-getting up early, meditating, journaling, hiking, and yesterday Qi Gong class. It was tricky yesterday because I had to choose between hiking or class because I was out of time. This morning I thought I could do both things-silly me-but when I opened the front door the neighborhood stray cat was up on the Roof! I tried to get her down but couldn't reach her so I had to get my husband up and he is very tall and finally we lured her to an overhang on the balcony and he was able to reach up and grab her. Needless to say, I missed the class. I keep trying to make the morning "things" flow smoothly. I suppose adopting any new behaviour takes some time and energy. Off for my hike now. Have a lovely weekend to you all.
