I seem to be doing well on the Atkins diet. I have been following the diet to the letter and it seems to be working out for me too.

I began a new workout routine yesterday with my weights and wow-am I ever sore today...I guess it's working! The backs of my legs and my chest are a little sore....I really want to target the backs of my arms too, so I am going to have to raise the amount of weights I am using for the backs of the arms.

I am also being very cautious about the amount of carbs I am consuming in this induction phase too. Yesterday, I consumed about 22 net carbs when I was supposed to only consume 20 so I will have to watch today. Although, I still did lose weight, so I am not too worried but I still don't want to chance it. I want this weight off for good! I am also going to work my butt of if I have to as well.

With my workouts, I am probably burning about 1000 calories a session or I will break it up into two sessions and lose it that way. Either way, I am also working out hard. I know that I can't just eat the Atkins way and expect the weight to just fall off naturally by simply only changing my eating habits. I have to actually work out as well. It doesn't matter to me because I have been working out hard for the last 18 months. Basically, a year and a half. I know my body's limits, and I know that I have to push it sometimes to see results.....

And results are what I am seeing now and I LOVE IT!!! :):):)
