I don't understand why some weeks I go up on the scale I had actually gotten back up to 274 now finally back down to 272.5. I'm going to Fred Meyer to look into buying a new scale that measures in actual oz. It's the same one that they use at my gym. I haven't been over consuming in calories but also haven't been eating a lot of veggies like I was. We've been eating out a lot so probably a lot of sodium. Still fighting to keep regular on BM's. I know those play a roll in my weight loss and I can go days without going.
272.5 lb Lost so far: 44.5 lb.    Still to go: 72.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Myree, if you are eating out you might want to confirm exactly what's in your foods. A lot of restaurants add fillers to their meat or sugar to the sauces. You might be eating way more carbs than you thought. Also, if you don't have regular BMs, increase fiber. You can do this either through more veggies or by making MIMs.

I have to agree, the MIM's work wonderfully. I have had constipation issues my whole life and worse when doing Atkins, but nothing has ever worked like the MIM's. I eat 1/2 to one everyday, which consist of a tbsp or two of flaxseed meal, and I have now never been more regular, just have to be consistent with it everyday. Just thought I would offer some additional input on that. Best wishes.

Thanks you guys yeah I usually get a grilled chicken ceasar salad from KFC and it's actually in FS so I'm pretty sure of the calories and carbs. I've tried the flax seed in the way of MIMs and muffins... fiber doesn't even phase me I've always had this problem. My doctor has me taking Senna daily which keeps me pretty regular but I guess I'm one of those people that only have a BM every couple of days.

KFC does use fillers in their chicken. If I am not mistaken they use tapioca or some other sweet filler.

I just pulled up their nutrition guide and it is the same as what FS says for their grilled chicken 1 carb in one of the pieces and 0 in the rest. I'm still losing I just get frustrated... it could be that TOM is sneeking up on my which always makes me gain.

If the fillers are considered trace they do not have to inclue this in their nutrition guide. But if you are losing there shouldn't be any reason to start questioning your foods. It's when we stop losing that we need to take a good look at these things. It's not just KFC. This is everywhere in the US because the USDA requirements are way too lax.
